You paddle for waves and you miss most of them. You're burnt out halfway through the session, and the surfer sitting ten metres away is catching everything.

That's not a fitness or technique problem.

It's a wave reading problem.

In one hour, live, Andrew shows you what to look for in a wave and how to catch it:

1. Where to sit: finding the right positioning to catch a wave.

2. When to paddle. Timing: starting your paddle so the wave picks you up instead of rolling under you.

3. Which wave is worth it. Selection: which one to go for, and which one to let pass.

Bring a question about your home break, or anything else about your wave reading. Andrew answers live.

"wow, i wish someone had explained this to me in this way, its so much clearer now"

Martin, 48

"When I understand what's really going on, I relax, I commit, and I surf with more confidence instead of second-guessing."

Jenny, 42

"No one had ever broken down concepts the way you have."

Peter, 59

This session is for you if

You've been surfing for a while, and you feel stuck at the same level. You want to learn how to position yourself  better to catch a wave.

It's not for you if

You've *just* started surfing, or you haven't started yet. If you're catching your first whitewater waves, we have trips built for exactly where you are. Leave your email here instead. Also not for you if you're happy with your surfing and just want spot tips.

The Wave Language Method

1. Wave reading is a skill you can learn, not a talent. It's not an intuition or an instinct you wait 10 years to absorb. It's based on knowledge that follows patterns in the water, and anyone can learn it.

2. Andrew turned 44 years of surfing and 18 years of coaching more than 8,000 surfers into that structure, so an adult can learn it in months.

3. It's the foundation under everything: wave count, energy, confidence, and every technique you want to do .

One hour that changes how you see every wave you paddle for.

Saturday September 19. Live on Zoom with Andrew. Free, application only.

5pm UK · 12pm ET · 9am PT · 2am Sydney.

Seats are limited, and the replay is only for surfers who applied.
